Case 1: Nursing Home patient diagnosed with Pneumonia

The first video is from the Nursing home side, the second video is from Telemedicine physician site.

Case 2: New Rash noted by the Nurse in an Elderly Patient with Dementia

This patient was found to have a rash on his right  upper abdomen and flank. Because of his dementia, it was not possible to elicit a complete history other than what was provided by the nurse. The patient's primary physician was not available on site, so this evaluation was done via telemedicine by the remote consulting physician. A diagnosis of shingles was made and the patient was started on Acyclovir.

These Images were captured from the remote high definition video conferencing camera by the telemedicne  physician.

Case 3: Follow up of a leg wound

This patient was recently hospitalized for an MRSA leg wound and was on IV antibiotics. Telemedicine allowed for frequent physician follow up evaluations at the nursing home in order to insure proper wound healing.

Case 4: Patient with rash on her hands

This is an example of a telemedicine progress note with images captured remotely in real time.
